Diego

I got to fly to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. It is south of the Maldives and east of the Seychelles. Absolutely beautiful.
It's part of the British Indian Ocean Territory
White powdery sand like Thailand and black rock
The mile marker shows this place is the definition of out in the middle of nowhere. I like that I've been to most of the places on the signs.
This is turtle cove, and as a British wildlife sanctuary, the fine is $1,500 for swimming...almost worth it
 Dude Crush and his friend
 Gotta love turquoise water
Some of the locals: a coconut crab and donkeys
The one in the front told me he's makin' waffles
This is what's left of a pier used to make deliveries to the old coconut plantation

 An old WWII plane wreck
A beautiful island and a great trip. I only wish I could have taken my wife here. She has always wanted to go to Diego.

Our kids and a tomato

With all of our travels and camp we have not had many pictures of the kids on here lately. The weather is warming up and we've started hitting the beach, so we thought it would be good to show how big they are getting.
Almost as big as his brother was when we moved here.
Playing in the sand is still his brother's favorite beach pastime.
At the park
Camping in our tent fort
so cute
so cool
so tired
At the BX they had a jumpy castle with Velcro suites, so here are two of my kids just hangin' around.
"Have fun, Son...we'll see you in an hour"
Our youngest LOVES tomatoes, and while Uncle is away, one of his garden tomatoes ripened and this guy got to eat it.
this is the biggest tomato he had seen to date
 eating it like an apple
so happy
Bye everybody!
